The latest Carnival of Evolution, a compilation of links to all sorts of evolution-related blogging goodness, is now up at The Mermaid’s Tale. If you feel overwhelmed by all the interesting stuff out there that you could be reading, the Carnival is a nice filter–it’s basically a bunch of evolutionary bloggers choosing their own best work.
My own submission, about why we expect evolving organisms to be subject to trade-offs (it’s not just because of “constraints”) is here. This is actually an old post from the early days of the blog, so not many folks have read it, which is too bad because I think it’s one of my better efforts.
Excellent carnival this month from The Mermaid’s Tale – have just linked to it on Genome Engineering at http://www.genome-engineering.com/carnival-of-evolution-41-at-the-mermaids-tale.html
