Wow, forget zombie ideas or even statistical machismo–what people want to read about on Dynamic Ecology is projectile penguin defecation and ducks in funnels! As evidenced by the fact that Meg’s post on these topics just gave us our biggest day ever: 1526 non-syndicated pageviews! At one point, we were getting almost 400 views/hour.
Clearly, our motto should not be “Multa novit vulpes” (“The fox knows many things”), but something like “Dynamic Ecology: come for the ducks in funnels, stay for the chin-scratchingly thoughtful posts on scaling”. 🙂
