And good question re: email. WordPress recently changed how they display their stats, they don’t seem to be splitting out syndicated pageviews any more. And I don’t recall if email subscribers were counted along with RSS subscribers in the syndicated totals. In any case, email subscribers are only a small fraction of our regular readers, who in turn are only a small fraction of all readers.
